With this merger, we combine our expertise to power the patient-centered healthcare revolution, offering a complete suite of on-demand healthcare solutions that help our clients maximize revenue and reach their goals.

I love the platform I have. Will I have to change?

No. We will continue to support both platforms while offering complementary solutions including patient engagement, teleradiology, RCM, C&C, consulting, analytics and CME to our shared clients. We are committed to ensuring no business disruption for our customers. In the long-term, we will leverage our combined expertise and innovation to deliver a brand new, best-of-breed solution, raising the bar for urgent care technology.

Who leads the new company?

David Stern is CEO of Experity. Eric McDonald, CEO of DocuTAP, will remain as an advisor and an active member of the Experity Board of Directors. The current executive leadership of both companies will remain in place while we evaluate the best structure for the new company. Will one product get priority over the other?

Initially, we will continue to support the software platforms and services provided by both companies. A big benefit for our clients will be the availability of new services and solutions like contracting and credentialing, consulting, CME, patient engagement, remote patient registration, business intelligence, and teleradiology integrations. We have no intention of forcing a client that is successful with the platform they’re using to change directions with new software from day one or in the near term.

Will there eventually be one unified platform?

Yes. We will be working to build a best-of-breed platform to support a modern interface that can be scaled effectively for our clients. We have no intention of forcing a client that is successful with the platform they’re using to change directions with new software from day one or in the near term. Experity will leverage its combined expertise and innovation to deliver this brand new, best-of-breed solution, raising the bar for urgent care technology. When this new solution becomes available, clients will have the opportunity to shift to the new platform if they choose.

How do clients decide which platform is best for their business?

Experity is committed to providing the best solutions for every client and our team will work with each client to help them determine which platform can best meet their needs. We welcome the opportunity to discuss the individual needs of each client to ensure the solution they’re currently using is the best choice for their business.

If an urgent care center is not currently using DocuTAP or Practice Velocity products, should they wait for the new platform to avoid the challenges of multiple implementation processes?

No, there is no reason to wait. While Experity is planning to evolve the companies’ systems into a single, completely-modernized system for on-demand healthcare, the timeline has not yet been determined. Our goal is to maximize your benefit by offering new integrations into both platforms, so clients get the best of both worlds. Our award-winning platforms were built for urgent care to streamline workflow and optimize revenue. We welcome the opportunity to discuss your current needs. We’ll make it easy to transition to our new solution when it becomes available.
